BusinessEurope offers to negotiate with ETUC on written statement directive

In its second-stage consultation of the social partners issued on 21 September 2017, the European Commission asked the European social partners whether they are willing to enter into negotiations with a view to concluding an agreement revising the written statement directive.  

BusinessEurope Council of Presidents has mandated BusinessEurope to negotiate a revision of the written statement directive, taking into account the needs of enterprises of all sizes and all sectors and the nature of this directive.

BusinessEurope has informed both the Commission and the ETUC of this and is awaiting the response from ETUC, hoping it will be positive.
