Investing in people – the way forward

The European Conference "Investing in people – the way forward" is taking place on 15-16 February in Sofia. The event is part of the Bulgarian Presidency's events programme and will conclude the celebrations of the 60-year anniversary of the European Social Fund. Marianne Thyssen, Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, will be invited to deliver an opening speech and take part in the closing panel which will draw conclusions and propose recommendations for future investments in people, in line with the principles prescribed in the European Pillar of Social Rights.
