Nation States or Member States? Reimagining the European Union

The conference, organised under the auspices of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU, will bring together leading academics, think tanks, policymakers, and journalists to discuss the future of Europe in these challenging times. Europe is torn between the contradictory trends of further integration and disintegration. The need for European unity is underscored by growing global instability, insecurity and, at the same time, interconnectedness.
