Technology & the Paris Agreement

The event will provide an update on the international framework and institutional set up for the UNFCCC Technology Transfer Mechanism. Practitioners from the public and private sector will provide insights on the key requirements for a successful involvement of the private sector in technology development and transfer. A special emphasis will be on market-creation, frugal innovation and first-of-a-kind applications in developing countries. Practical examples will focus on cooperation with key partner countries, such as India.
