Developing an investment project pipeline in the EU

Markus J. Beyrer participated in a meeting of the Commission-EIB-Member States task force on developing an investment project pipeline in the EU. The key focus must be to raise private investment through ambitious policy measures to break down barriers to company investment. Public investment that works alongside market-based provision is also important to avoid undertaking projects that will not help strengthen the European economy.
