Safe Harbour framework discussed with the European Commission

After recommendations on Safe Harbour were published in November 2013, bilateral discussions are going on between the EU and US authorities about implementation. Some further work needs to be done on a number of issues. BusinessEurope co-hosted a meeting with Paul Nemitz, responsible for the Safe Harbour framework within the Commission, to take stock of the process. Discussions will continue over the next months to finalise implementation of the recommendations rapidly. The Commission will then publish a report on the future of Safe Harbour, clarifying the next steps.
