Priorities outlined to EU Commissioner Jourová

Justice, consumers and gender equality – areas in the portfolio of EU Commissioner Věra Jourová – are of great importance for companies. These topics and our priorities for the next five years were presented to the Commissioner by BusinessEurope Director General Markus J. Beyrer. It was also an opportunity to reiterate our positions on a number of topics, including data protection, product safety and shareholders' rights. The need to ensure simplification and legal certainty for economic operators was also stressed.
