7th EU-Brazil Business Summit

On 24 February, the 7th EU-Brazil Business Summit organised by BUSINESSEUROPE, CNI and EUROCHAMBRES in Brussels developed recommendations addressed to participating EU leaders - the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy - and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff on how to further the two parties’ economic relationship. EU and Brazilian business participants urged political leaders to show that they are really willing to move ahead with the free-trade negotiations between the wider Mercosur region and the EU.
