BusinessEurope meets President of Chinese Patent Office

A BusinessEurope delegation met the President of the Chinese Patent Office in Suzhou, China. BusinessEurope welcomed and supported closer cooperation with the Chinese Patent Office and European industry. The delegation also took part in a high-level meeting on patent harmonisation with participants from industry and presidents of patents offices from Europe, China, the USA, Japan and South Korea. The main priority is to reduce costs and harmonise procedures with a view to encouraging innovation.
