Statement in view of the Greek referendum

Ahead of next Sunday’s referendum in Greece BUSINESSEUROPE President Emma Marcegaglia issued this statement: “We are concerned about the difficult times that capital controls and the lack of progress in the negotiations have brought to the Greek population, businesses and their employees. We firmly believe in the opportunities a strong and competitive European economy offers to every European citizen and business. We hope Sunday΄s referendum to be the beginning of better prospects for Greece.”
