Energy and climate transition: How to strengthen the EU's competitiveness
The energy and industrial landscape in Europe is at a critical juncture. The recent energy crisis exposed significant vulnerabilities in Europe’s energy supply and led to a sharp increase in energy costs for European businesses.
Over the past year, BusinessEurope has worked with the consultancy Compass Lexecon to analyse future energy market developments up to 2050 and their potential impact on European competitiveness. Our report is available here.
Against this background, we are now organising a hybrid-format discussion on how the EU can achieve its climate and energy targets while remaining internationally competitive.
