Fiscal rules in Europe: Design and Enforcement

DG ECFIN is organising its annual workshop on fiscal policy, dedicated this year to ‘Fiscal rules in Europe: design and enforcement’. The workshop will be a one-day event with high-profile speakers and discussants from academia and international institutions. The workshop will be structured in two parts. The 1st session will concentrate on the design of fiscal rules. The 2nd session will focus on how to apply and enforce fiscal rules. The sessions will be followed by a high-level policy panel.
