Trip to Athens
European business stands behind Greek business. There needs to be a deal between Greece and its partners, built upon restored confidence and trust. Greece should commit to continued implementation of concrete reforms, including in areas such as improving the business environment, privatisation, ensuring labour laws support job creation and modernising the tax system. These were key messages BusinessEurope President Marcegaglia and Director General Beyrer emphasised at the Annual General Assembly of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) in Athens, in presence of Prime Minister Tsipras, Minister of Finance Varoufakis and SEV President Fessas. Emma Marcegaglia, President of BusinessEurope, exchanged views on Greece with Antonis Samaras, former Prime Minister of Greece, during her participation in the Annual General Assembly of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) in Athens.
