Meeting Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation Carlos Moedas

BusinessEurope's Director General Markus J. Beyrer and Commissioner Carlos Moedas discussed not only the value of innovation for the European economy and competitiveness, but also the industrial participation in research and innovation projects. The commissioner stressed the need to increase the role of applied research and innovation and positively commented on BusinessEurope's latest position paper on future of EU research and innovation policy, which is in line with the Commission approach and position.
