Juncker’s work programme more focused on key priorities
The European Commission work programme for 2015 has a clear focus on key priorities, translating the political guidelines of the Juncker Commission into action. European companies support this clear focus on growth and jobs and competitiveness-enhancing rules. President Juncker and his team have also carried out a more realistic assessment of the chances for adoption for some of the pending legislative files. Although we do miss some points and would have preferred a clearer visibility of others, we are aware that these might still follow. For instance, mainstreaming industrial competitiveness in all relevant policies should become a standard procedure from now on.
