As part of our initiative "Climate dialogues: HOW to reach climate neutrality?", we are pleased to invite you to our first interactive webinar: "Energy scenarios towards a climate-neutral EU".
Mechthild Wörsdörfer, Director for Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks at the International Energy Agency, and Lukasz Kolinski, Head of Unit on economic analysis and foresight, recovery at the European Commission DG ENER, will outline their views on energy supply scenarios towards 2030 and 2050. Central to this discussion is the impact of Covid-19 on the energy sector and the prospects for an accelerated energy transition. Hydrogen is a promising solution in the energy transition and currently enjoys unprecedented political and business momentum. Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, Secretary General at Hydrogen Europe, will shed his light on the role of hydrogen as an enabler in the EU’s future energy system.
