Intellectual property is key

In its latest brochure "Intellectual property is key", BUSINESSEUROPE shows the importance of intellectual property (IP) for innovation, creation, entrepreneurship, growth and jobs, trade and society. IP protection is fundamental to boost innovation, growth and jobs. Yet, in Europe it still does not have the same strategic importance and appropriate recognition of its positive impact on the economy as it has for instance in Japan or the USA. The brochure provides recommendations on how to address some of the challenges that companies still face while trying to protect and enforce their IP rights.
