Industrial competitiveness and the 2030 climate and energy package

In a letter written to Commission President José Manuel Barroso BUSINESSEUROPE President Emma Marcegaglia and Director General Markus J. Beyrer highlighted that the forthcoming European Commission proposals on industrial competitiveness and the 2030 energy and climate policy are developed in a consistent and complementary manner. The letter urges President Barroso to ensure that the climate and energy package is fully compatible with the need of strengthening our industries and restoring Europe as a place for industrial investment.
