Is the EU regulatory framework fit for innovation?

This and other crucial questions were addressed by high-level speakers from the European Parliament, think-tanks, business community at BusinessEurope workshop ‘Mainstreaming innovation and science in EU policy’. MEP Philippe de Backer mentioned the need to adjust the system, to move from risk aversion to better management of risk within the EU. Most of all, Europe should build a true culture of innovation.
