Companies need efficient transport services to be competitive

Europe needs better integrated national transport networks and avoid the introduction of new restrictions, in particular in the area of road transport. This is what Markus J. Beyrer discussed with Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc at a meeting on 17 February. In particular, companies want to see swift progress on key transport dossiers such as the 4th Railway Package and Single European Sky. It is fundamental to invest in the maintenance of existing infrastructure and build a truly connected Europe.
