Clear majority of pro-European forces in new EP is a mandate to work for a better Europe

Reacting to the outcome of the European elections Emma Marcegaglia said: “The clear majority of pro-European forces achieved in the EP elections is a mandate and strong obligation to work together constructively for a better and more competitive Europe to create more growth and more jobs. This is the best way to address the concerns of those Europeans who voiced their disenchantment towards the EU. It is also important to give credit to the majority of Europeans who expressed their support for a better Europe, an improved EU. European companies strongly believe in the European Union. They want to invest in Europe, generate more growth and more jobs but they need a competitive business environment to be able to do so.”
