BusinessEurope campaigns for TTIP in Washington DC

Just before the start of the 9th round of negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, BusinessEurope travelled to Washington DC to pass a clear message: both sides should make all efforts to reach a political agreement during Obama’s term of office. In the capital of the United States, we met key interlocutors from the US Administration including USTR, Commerce, Treasury and the US Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. Several meetings were also organised with Congressmen, the EU Ambassador to the United States David O’Sullivan, as well as with US business organisations like the US Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers.
