Beyrer talks reindustrialisation at IV event

Speaking in Vienna at the event organised by the Federation of Austrian Industries on “Reindustrialisation – objective of the European Council?”, Markus J. Beyrer made it clear that Europe needs a more ambitious industrial policy; competitiveness must be at the centre stage in the new legislative period. “The 2030 climate and energy goals must be consistent with the target of achieving at least 20% of industry’s share in Europe’s GDP”, Beyrer said.
