Operationalising Article 6 of the Paris Agreement: State of play and business perspectives

BusinessEurope is organising a COP29 official side-event for a discussion on the implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. This event will explore the perspectives of Parties and the private sector’s requirements for a functional carbon crediting mechanism, in view of the work ahead to fully operationalise Article 6. Attendees will have the chance to hear from business organisations, company representatives, and negotiators.

It is open to all registered COP attendees in the Blue Zone and virtual badge-holders via the UNFCCC digital platform.
