How to sustain global digital leadership

Shortly after the launch of the Commission’s mid-term review on its digital single market strategy, BusinessEurope and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will hold a joint event on the transatlantic digital economy and its impact on privacy, data flows, cybersecurity, the 4th global industrial revolution, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things.

Following a presentation by Hunton & Williams LLP on the attributes of an effective data protection authority, panellists will first discuss (1) how to foster effective and modern data privacy regimes before turning to how to (2) build a Transatlantic digital partnership. A cocktail reception will follow.

Please find the programme below. Speakers will be added as and when confirmed. Check this page for updates!
