EDPL International Seminar : “Countdown to Implementation: How to Put the Obligations of the GDPR into Practice”

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force in May 2016 and will apply from May 2018, after a two-year transitional period. Being a major overhaul of the EU data protection regulatory framework, the GDPR imposes many new requirements for which the main actors need to be adequately prepared. This in-depth seminar is designed for data protection professionals working in industry, policy and public affairs to provide an insight into how to handle the difficulties and challenges arising in daily data protection practices.
