Elena Bertolotto is Senior Legal Adviser at BusinessEurope. Elena holds a law degree from the University of Genoa and a Master's degree (LLM) in EU law from the Institute of European Studies (IEE-ULB) in Brussels. She is a fully qualified lawyer in Belgium and a former member of the Brussels Bar. Before joining BusinessEurope, she worked for nine years in well-known law firms in Milan and Brussels, where she gained a solid experience in dealing with intellectual property and EU regulatory matters. Elena has also worked on a number of cases before the EU Court of Justice in Luxembourg. At BusinessEurope, she mainly deals with intellectual property issues and provides legal support in other areas of law. Elena’s mother tongue is Italian and she is fluent in English and French.
